Proof of design - Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

FEA allows the behaviour of a mechanical part to be imitated without having to build a physical prototype.   Every Raptor component that is safety critical (eg. steering) undergoes FEA to ensure that it won't fail under race conditions.

The feedback received from FEA is invaluable in either confirming a design's suitability, or any areas requiring further strength.  The loadings applied under FEA exceed any which are likely to be encountered, so you can be confident that a Raptor design will go the distance.

FEA is an option offered on any Raptor designed component.
