Greg Harris is Raptor's chief designer with over 20 years design and manufacturing experience.  All designs are produced in Pro Engineer, a 3D modelling program, which allows an entire vehicle or component to be designed and analysed before fabrication begins.  This approach ensures that customers can visualise their designs before the physical item is manufactured.

Design of components

Raptor specialise in the design and manufacture of components using materials ranging from mild steel to specialist alloys.  Purpose built jigs are produced where necessary to ensure precise fabrication.  Examples of components Raptor can manufacture for you include:

-  Suspension arms and pickup points optimised for your current chassis

-  Wheel hubs (use Raptor’s new mid board hub design or tailor your own)

-  Mounts (gearbox, engine, and ancillaries)

-  Adaptor plates and spacers for any application

-  Engine components (manifolds, brackets and exhaust systems)

Suspension analysis

Raptor has several years experience in the design of suspension geometry.  All analysis is performed using a kinematic suspension design tool called SusProg3D, the most sophisticated program of its type.  Raptor can analyse your current suspension arrangement and suggest where improvements can be made.  Forget the days of trial and error in getting your off road vehicle to handle properly.
